Office Administrator

We seek an experienced and energetic Office Admin to help in many aspects of our organization.

Lucas MWF is in search of an energetic and organized Office Administrator. This position will expose you to a diverse customer base who request our assistance with their projects. This position will be customer-facing, require organization and focus on details, as well as develop your communication and sales abilities.

This position requires an up-to-date resume in addition to a completed application.

Position Details

  • Full time, year-round
  • Weekly pay
  • Day shifts, 8-10 hours per day
  • Face-to-face and phone communication with customers
  • Computer-based market research
  • Inside sales and route planning for outside sales staff
  • Preparing estimates and invoices
  • Completing metal sales transactions
  • Collecting payments on invoices
  • Providing updates to customers on their projects
  • Keep office and waiting area clean in appearance
  • Running basic errands for office supplies and some shop supplies

Job Description

  • Work interdependently and communicate effectively with customers and the fabrication team
  • Responsible for keeping the office/waiting area clean and presentable for customers
  • Performs market research to determine how Lucas MWF can assist other companies with their equipment or facility needs
  • Field phone calls and schedule appointments based on shop or in-field workloads
  • The Office Administrator helps by updating customers on the progress of their projects and maintaining expectations of deadlines
  • Develop preliminary estimates for management review and process payments for completed projects
  • Contact customers for initial collections on open invoices and update interaction prior to management involvement
  • Follow through from interaction to close of metal sales
  • Arrange appointments for equipment, vehicle, or building maintenance
  • Manage parts shipments/logistics.
  • Field interactions with outside vendors

Qualifications

  • Must have a positive, energetic, and professional demeanor
  • Must be organized, detail-oriented, and have the desire to be efficient
  • Must have obtained a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Must have reliable transportation, be able to pass a background check, and be willing to take a random drug test as requested
  • Must have computer literacy and software competency
  • Must have an insurable driver’s license through our provider, as applicable
  • Prior Office Administrator experience a plus

Compensation

$20.00-$25.00 per hour, depending on experience
